बाळकृष्ण पद्माक्ष

खूप दिवस झाले, पद्माक्ष बदल लिहिण्याचा योग नाही आला. त्यामुळे थोडा चुकचुकल्या सारखा वाटत होतं. मागील २-३ महिने त्याची वाढ होतांना बघतोय, फारच आनंद होतो. त्याचे दुडूदुडू रांगण बघून फारच कौतुक वाटत. सध्या तो आधार घेऊन उभा राहण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो आहे. पालक म्हणून आम्ही ह्या सगळ्या गोष्टीकडे कुतूहलानी बघतो आणि अनुभवतो.


त्याच्या मुखातून निघालेल्या प्रत्येक आवाजामध्ये आम्ही नाविन्य शोधत असतो. तो काय सांगायचा प्रयत्न करतो आहे हे जाणून घेण्यात एक निराळीच मजा असते. :)


पण जीव कधी कधी हळहळतो जेव्हा तो धरपडतो. :( दोन छोट्याश्या दातांनी तो चावतो आणि जर आपण दर्शवला कि आपल्या बोटाला लागला आहे तर खुदकण हसतो. :D

जन्माष्ठामीच्या दिवशी त्याने फारच धमाल केली. त्या दिवशीचे काही टिपलेले क्षण.

संस्कार - कर्णवेध

प्रिय वाचक,

हिंदू धर्माच्या पद्धती प्रमाणे सोळा संस्कारातला कान टोचणे हा एक मुख्य संस्कार आहे. यामुळे बाळाला हिंदू धर्माची मान्यता मिळते. मुलगा असला तरी हिंदू धर्मात कान टोचल्या शिवाय त्याला सोवळ्यात (पूजा विधी मध्ये) मान्यता मिळत नाही. हा विचार डोळ्यासमोर ठेऊन आम्ही आमच्या पद्माक्षचे कान टोचले.
उत्तम दिवस निवडला गेला तो होता अनुराधा नक्षत्राचा. गौराई, आई आणि बाबा या मंगल प्रसंगी उपस्तित होते. सोनाराच्या हातूनच कान टोचावे अशी म्हण आहे ती आज संपुष्टात आली. :-)

नोट : मराठी मध्ये ब्लोग लिहिण्याचा हा माझा पहिला प्रयत्न. :-)

He said his FIRST word today ..

We are so happy to hear those golden words from our son Padmaksh .. He said " AABA AABA" .. In marathi grandfather is called as AABA but we have our new funda to look at .. may be from AABA .. AA stands for AAI (Mother) and BA stands for BABA (Father). :-)

Waiting for listen few more words in comming days..

Padmaksh on Orkut ..

Yes, I created Padmaksh's account on Orkut. He must be youngest orkut user in this world. :)
Though google tried to restricts us in creating account for him as they need atleast 13 yr for that but there is always a workaround. ;-)

First movie experience with Padmaksh

It’s being long time that Me and Gaurai visited Cinema hall for watching any movie. Will Padmaksh stay cool in theatre? Will we able to watch movie properly? These were some common questions we were thinking about. But finally the moment came when we immediately took a decision and went to see the movie AVTAR, a 3d movie directed by Director of Titanic. My Sis & jiju were with us for watching this Oscar award winning movie.

we were excited to watch our first movie with Padmaksh!!. One more reason of excitement was after Chota Chetan (a 3d bollywood movie), we never saw 3D movie from long time. We were amazed to see Padmaksh watching this movie!! because he was so silent in movie hall and continuously facing towards movie screen. Yes, we enjoyed movie with Padmaksh.

Thinking about watching more movies with Padmaksh. :-)

He turned .. Amazing..

Wow .. he turned.. he turned..

Look like, my pillu is growing up. :-) I have seen many kids crawling, turning ourselves but when Padmaksh turned by himself, I was so happy. This is only because of efforts taken by his mom and grandma. They use to give daily massage to him. :D

First Meal ! He is growing..

Now the time has come to feed some outside food to Padmaksh.

The day selected was Hanuman Jayanti. Special food is created for my little master. Rice, daal, Shira (maharashtrian sweet dish) and yummy khir (another famous Indian sweet disk) was the part of pillu’s first meal. Lovely menu, hain na ? :-) . The dish is well decorated with traditional rangoli.

In a very traditional way, in the presence of diyas, Gaurai provides first taste of food to him.
My mom & dad were equally happy with this occasion.

Padmaksh Shakal Shukla

Yes, now my Pillu will be recognised as "Padmaksh Shakal Shukla".

Padmaksh - Padma means Lotus and Aksh means Eyes, that makes Padmaksh i.e. a boy with Lotus like Eyes. This is one of the Name of Lord Shri Ram.

Story behind this name: One evening, my mom strikes this name while reading Ramraksha Stotra. She suggested this name to me and we found that this name looks quite unique and special.

Padmaksh's birthname is "OM" which is unique in all.

Pillu's First Competition :p

Ya, Ya .. nothing to surprised .. Really my pillu participated in his First competition..

As you have seen in movie “3 idiots”.. We always treat life as a competition and if you are not enough competent then you are considered as failure.. Though let the children do whatever they want.. Every kid has specific speed of growth with special skills and parents should not force their children for success in competition. They should give them enough chances and motivate for participation in any competition.

So my Pillu participated in “Healthy baby competition” .. his first competition :-).

We enjoyed the atmosphere of competition and received a nice certificate from organisers.

Three Cheers for Pillu .. Hip hip Hurrey .. ;-)

I am the most luckiest person who could able to catch pillu's first smile.. Yes, now he can recognise faces of family members (this is my prediction ... ;-))
